Why there is no NISMO exhaust for the G37S?

hello everyone
my friend has nismo exhausts installed on his g35... the sound is purely amazing... ferrari like and while roaming ( low rpm ) the car exhaust sound is attractive and u feel there is power in that...
i have 2008 g37s ... i hate its exhaust sound as it is very low after infiniti tuned it ( which i still dont know why )
i wana install after market exhaust but actually way too expensive and it costs like 1000 us dollar +
but ive been looking for nismo exhausts on g37s ... i search utube google like for hours but no one ever mentioned or installed those.

are they compatible? any idea how to make g37s sound at least like the g35 ?

It's been done, search the forum. It's not a direct fit though and you will need a 2-3 inch extension.

There are plenty of aftermarket exhausts that can be had for much less than 1000. If you're only interested in sound, an axle back exhaust would be perfect! Look into Tanabe and Megan axle back exhausts.

The man who made Nismo exhausts is Takeshi Fujitsubo, he left the company he founded, and started Arqray exhausts.
He makes a catback for the Skyline 370GT.
That would be the closest you will get to a Nismo.

Unless you find a leftover discontinued Fujitsubo exhaust for the G37.

The best exhaust you can find now, is the Fast Intentions, it keeps the VQ note, but meaner!!

About to find out. Was just given a nismo axleback off a Z. Since it was free figured it was sorth a shot but now I will be so heartbroken if it doesn’t fit. Looks like it could bolt up to the stock G midpipe, my biggest concern right now is that the exhaust tips may be too big. They have resonators in the tips so they’re huge. They’re about 1/2” wider than stock tips it will be close maybe they could fit but my diffuser may prevent it and that’s one hell of a tradeoff. Will let you know, snowing outside now will try when it’s a lil warmer. Just seems if it was doable people would be doing it but then again nobody was doing the FI 34 row oil cooler on a G but fit like a glove (not OJ’s glove)

PS... maybe this is what you were looking for
NISMO PARTS CATALOGUE 2018
no idea on price but when i decided i wasn’t happy with black friday sales last year, i bought a nismo lsd from japan. It was much cheaper got it less than $1000 shipped to my house. but i got lucky not having to pay duty. May be harder to get that lucky now with increased tarriffs, but if you have the will you’ll find a way

Well for starters, there is no Nismo exhaust for the g37 because Infiniti does not have Nismo trims or packages. Your friend with the G35 probably fitted a 350z nismo exhaust on. I'm sure you can take a 370z nismo exhaust and fit it on a g37 but usually its not worth to do since we have IPL exhausts from factory which is basically the same (louder/deeper tone).

The IPL line is just Nismo with a different name. . . The parts are the exact same from the Nismo 370Z except with a slightly longer exhaust.
