2013 g37 coupe broken into

So lastnight my g37 was broken into.

It seems as if some electronic device was used to pop the locks. There was no damages to the locks/windows/signs of break in. The doors were both ajar and the trunk was ajar.

Nothing was taken from the trunk (there were plenty of valuables in there but untouched) and the passanger side door was too close to the next car over for it to be opened and entered into. Nonetheless the trunk and the passenger side door were ajar.

Has anyone ever heard of something like this or a device to pop all the locks on an infiniti?

Was anything taken at all? At the risk of sounding facetious, there is a device attached to your keychain that will unlock the doors in an infiniti and pop the trunk.

Is it at all possible you put the key fob in your pocket and unlocked/popped everything by sitting on it? Maybe some kids or something came through and saw an unlocked car with a popped trunk.

Just my thoughts.

No but are you positive someone broke into it if nothing was stolen? Maybe someone just didn't close the door and trunk all the way? Or someone accidently hit the unlock button?

It was a break in. Multiple things were stolen. Papers were town apart and thrown around. Sealed envelopes were ripped open and their contents were taken out.

Car was locked. Keys are never kept in my pocket in the house so there is 0% chance it was that.

Well in that case I know these days people can actually program a key for these higher end cars. But I don't think it is too common. Sorry for your loss man. That's a bitch!

Its easy to break in to a G unfortunately. You might not even notice it.

All they need to do is turn the mechanism in your door so it lets the windows roll down.

Huge error on Infiniti and Nissan for doing this. But that's how most people break in.

Had my G35 Broken in to twice and my G37 once.

After getting my g37 broken in to had a compustar top of the line 2 way alarm installed.. Nobody touches it now!

There was a report on the news a month ago about how crooks could clown your remote signal once you activate your remote it can be done on any car with a remote or key fob does not mater the make or model of the vehicle they just have to be close enough the intercept your signal with you use your remote. They stated there was no way to stop them unless you have two seperate alarms and even then they stated if they want your car they will get it. They also said thet thieves could do the same thing with cell phones and clone your cell phone if your with in twenty feet of there device and show how it worked. If you google you might be able to find it or maybe youtube.
