ARK Design Exhaust Any Good?

So someone decided to hit and run my car last night and destroyed my rear bumper and my exhaust. I currently have a resonator delete and I hate it. So I was looking to replace the exhaust with an aftermarket system with something that cost roughly the same as a new OEM catback. I found this ARK design exhaust and it at least looks like a quality product in the photos but I can't find much info as far as G37 customers go. This makes me a bit skeptical. Anyone have any experience with ARK Design or know if this is a good product?

BTW, why are exhaust systems for G37's so damn expensive? I used to have a BMW M5 and you could find quality exhaust for those cheaper than for these G37s....

LOL! This is some ebay POS, that stole the Real Ark Performance name. https://www.arkperformance.com/

I wouldnt suggest getting it. Those ebay brands are skeptical on fitment and quality. If you want a really nice system check out the real ARK Performance. Or If you want something cheap you can even look into Top Speed. They started on ebay but have proven themselves to be a fairly good product.

Where did you find an M5 exhaust for less than any G37 exhaust? Maybe a used E39 or E34 M5 exhaust.

So these Top Speed exhaust are even cheaper than the ARK Design yet are of good quality? I did notice right away that ARK design had the same name of the makers of the ARK GRIP.

Sorry dude, I'm a student. I can't afford a $1,500 exhaust at the moment. I can only judge these products off of their pictures and the reviews people give them. Someone recommended Top Speed, so I looked into it.

I highly recommend the motordyne shockwave e370, just put mine on. It roars like a beast.

I know where your coming from. I had top speed right when I got my G and I loved it. For the price you can't beat it. Search in here ull find a decent amount of good reviews. Then when you have more money upgrade. I did and now I rock an invidia system.

I have the top speed and I love the sound. I had a hard time justifying $1300 for an exhaust for only sound on a minimal amount of added HP. But to each its own.

^^
What he said. I loved my ARK GRiPs till I got bored of em'. LOL. Things went south when I decided to add ART pipes. There was an incredible amount of rasp from the combo, so decided to go with e370.

I would just wait and do it right, rather than going with something that's not up to par (Not saying Top Speed is not good or anything before you guys burn me alive LOL) ... but
  1. Wait
  2. Research
  3. Save, then
  4. Buy what you really wanna buy.Don't just go by what people say. Everyone has different taste. You might not like something I love, so best thing would be (at least try) to listen to exhaust in person.
Good luck
