So I bought my car with a resonator delete and frankly I'm sick of it. The only time it even sounds halfway decent is 1700-2200 rpm under light throttle. The only midpipes I know of currently are Tanabe and the OEM. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money and would like to know what my options are. I just want something that sounds decent. I want my VQ to sound like a VQ, not a straight piped Honda....

 

If you strictly want the mid pipe with resonators your choices are very limited as most exhausts for our cars are cat backs and use a different mid pipe style that will not fit in the oem system. The only thing I can think of is Tanabe or the Fujitsubo Legalis-R Exhaust. You can call up Fuji and see if you can just get the mid pipe. Other than that you can keep your eye out for an OEM midpipe or even an IPL midpipe.
