HELP: FI Exhaust Rattling on Stock Rear Sway Bar
HELP: FI Exhaust Rattling on Stock Rear Sway Bar
Like the title says. Right now I am having an issue with my new exhaust.
It is super close to the rear sway bar and whenever the idle is at a certain RPM (for example when the AC is on and it works a bit harder) it starts to rattle against the Sway bar.
Any Ideas on how to fix this. I have already tried just moving the rubber grommits around to do small adjustments for the exhaust holders, but it just slides back in a day.
Hmm..

You can try loosening the muffler bolts, readjusting the pipes, have someone hold the mufflers in the correct position, then secure the bolts.
If that doesnt work, you can use a screw clamp and tighten the rubber muffler mount to move it out of the way.

happened to me when i had my camber kit on, don't really remember the stock sways but alteast for the hotchkis sways i have now the bar was pushed too far toward the rear on the drivers side, loosened the bolt that holds the bar up, slid the sway bar more forward, then tightened it back down, hasn't happened since. i tried every bolt on the FI exhaust, i did everything still heard it, once i did that to the sway, no more noise
