Vinyl Wrap

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to the forums so I'm not really sure if I'm posting this in the right spot. Anyways, I have a 2011 G37 coupe that I'm wanting to vinyl wrap. I plan on buying the vinyl wrap myself and allowing a professional company to install it. Would anyone know a rough estimate as to how much I would need to full cover the car? (not accounting for any variables such as messing up on the installation and such) I'm just trying to find out what size roll of vinyl I'll need to buy. Thanks

~2100 is what i have been quoted in the past for a good job.

But that included the vinyl as well so probably less for your case.

Welcome!!!! A vinyl wrap is expensive and more stretching and pulling work, I would consider plasti dip instead. Depends on quality of vinyl the roof gonna cost you 150-200 alone.

Does anyone know the rough estimate of the square footage I'd have to get?

Be sure to check Auto Vinyl Solutions I get all my vinyl from him and his prices, quality, and shipping are the best! Might even want to consult w/ him on the quantity since this is all he does.

If you buy the material yourself the installers won't warranty anything. Plus, most places aren't looking to make profit from the material so it will cost you the same.

If you find anything cheaper than what they can get then I wouldn't trust it. Vinyl has a shelf life. If it is the exact temp and humidity for storage then it can last months. Lots of the cheap resellers out there will buy in massive bulk, throw it on a shelf somewhere, and sell it over a year or more. If it has been sitting too long it becomes brittle and the adhesive dies out.

Just buy it through the shop so you'll get a warranty from them and they know the material is fresh. Professionally installed wraps will run you $2200 - $4k depending on level of install and material.
