Beeping noise

Not sure why but when I get into the car either by pressing the button on the door to unlock the car or using the fob, once I'm in the car the outside chimes for about 5 seconds. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't but its pretty annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Might have a short in the door locking mechanism. I know when I tried to lock my keys in the car, it beeped very fast for about 20 seconds.

Maybe when you're shutting the door, your car is thinking that you're trying to lock it with the keys inside.

Bring it into the shop if its under warranty. Probably be pretty easy for them to duplicate and figure something out.
