Yes, and extremely expensive and time consuming because to my, SIKKY, je motorsports, hinson, and joetechs knowledge no one has done a Chevy V8 swap in a g37, so i am no longer continuing this project, i dont have the time money know how or resources to complete a project of this magnitude that has never been done before, and would serve no good purpose due to the fact that almost no performance would be gained (some might be lost). sorry to all, thanks for the help though, for anyone wondering this motor will now most likely be going into a 240sx as originally planned

 

i dont have a clue on the specs of a 2jz to be honest, but what i can tell you it's a very strong motor. I have a friend of a friend name Don, he ran a stock 240 2jz 40 psi on stock internals. I know for a fact that Titan Motorsports has and continues to make proven well over 1200 whp. Proven on dynos, drag strips, and best of all on the streets. Check out all the tx2k vids by 1320 videos.

I think the only problems you will have doing a swap of a V8, and considering how many cubic inches, acutally, just finding the measurements will help, only problems that i can think of are fitting issues.

but yeah man check out 1320 videos. Makes you question few companies on this forum on wtf they are doing. High end stuff man.

You from TX area? You mentioned jotech. anyway best of luck. if you are in dallas check out tay's shop. he currently has a 1200 whp rb26, making 1k 2jz, and has some other stuff going on.

 

Better to figure out all of that before you jump in! Glad to see you started researching in advance, to many people get in the middle of a project like this before they figure it out.
