Fast Intentions arrived and Installed!

Finally received my 18' Resonated Test Pipes and SS Cat-back Exhaust and it was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. As mentioned on this forum Tony @ FI was great when I originally called in giving advice to help me get the sound and power I was looking for!

This was the second start...Engine was warm but had yet to be driven... I did notice after driving it and starting again the next day the sound was even better! Worth the wait and time in garage installing!

Got it, so you have to break it in a little bit. Heard some rasp thats why I was curious. Have you notice any performance gains?

yes def has to be broken in..the more you drive it and hear them the more you fall in love... As far as performance i think i need to break it in more, car def feels diff with less air restrictions but I will update you on that as I drive it more..Install would have only taken about 2hrs if it wasnt for a stubborn bolt at the top of the Driver side Catalytic Converter..

Sounds pretty good. Whats that sound though? As it revs down, there's a weird metal sucking sound (for lack of better explanation)

Thanks and that sound was explained to me by several people as being back pressure circulating with the stock Cats being removed.. I do plan on calling Tony to confirm though.. While driving it kinda sounds cool, like a blow off valve.. I will let you know what I hear on that

As far as how loud, it is certainly louder in 1st and 2nd.. While cruising its still quiet and a nice purr.. But Call Tony and tell him what your goals are

The deepness of that FI exhaust and the sound.. it's been 3 years and I still can't get over how exotic it sounds.
