Question AWD G37S Possible?

If I were to get my hands on the drive train from an AWD G37 is it POSSIBLE to do a conversion on the 6MT?

*I have a feeling this is gonna get a lot of SMH.....but I just wanna know.

Anything is possible if you throw enough time and money at it. Realistically though, I'm going to have to say no.

I mean, say i could get my hands on the drive train from a salvaged 37X, would it be relatively easy to swap drive trains? And/or what else would need to be done? Just looking into it because I havent seen this talked about at all other than the fact that Infiniti wont make a manual, AWD G.

First of all, the pieces do not physically fit on the 6mt. Look at the awd tranny, it looks completely different from 6mt. It doesnt even look similar to it's nonawd automatic equivalent. But modifying the drivetrain to fit would be the easy part.

Now, comes the electronics. The awd system is constantly communicating with ECU and tranny. 6mt does not provide any information that the awd is looking for, neither does the ECU. That's it, youre stuck.

I was thinking more of ---> Probably do that for a while until I get over the fact that Nissan/Infiniti hate us and don't want to make 6MT, AWD G that everyone would want....
