Just did a search and it said that they don't work with cars that have XM radio. Wtf?

I'm interested also in getting one of these.

I did notice an interesting thing, when at speed, it is very difficult to hear, but when I reach up and press the wind deflector down (back to its down position) the wind noise goes away. Has anyone removed this deflector completely to help with the sound?
