Crash, Bang...ALL FIXED UP!!!

OK - I'm just about over LA. 4 accidents since 2007 - and none my fault. And now my G!

Driving to work on the 10 freeway west, slowed down, heavy traffic...girl behind me in Corolla on the phone SMACKED me hard.

Already in shop, have my rental, filed both claims and seeing my Dr. this afternoon.

It's time people were taught a lesson from driving and texting/talking.

And it only has 1543 miles on it!!

All the rear lines are off...trunk opened but would not close. Not a good sign.

Sucks bro.

I drove mine for all of 1000 miles before someone's window blew up onto my passenger side.

Hope you're alright.

People on cell phones infuriate me when they are driving .... I rented a cargo van this past weekend for a trip I need to make to NC. Sitting up much higher than I'm used I saw a lot more than I'm used to. I bet 75% of the cars that I passed were using/looking at their phone in some capacity.

I feel your pain man; I got rear-ended yesterday by a douche bag on his phone also, I'm in the process of filing a claim too.

I'm so sick and tired of drivers talking/texting on their phone and causing the majority of accidents on the roads. It's so ****ing selfish and irresponsible and I believe those *******s should be fined like drunk drivers.

I agree I hate people who talk on the phone when the drive. Oh I also hate people when they have a passenger in the car also, and don't pay attention to other cars.

That's how I got into 2 car accidents.

Sucks to hear that. It's illegal here in most parts of Canada to be on the phone while driving (Thank God!)

Wait until the look at the floor in the trunk. Probably messed up too. Your looking at an EASY $5000 in damages

When i got rear ended last year it ended up being $8xxx in repairs...

Amen! Sorry for your accident, as well.

Thank the lord for GREAT body shops!

My philospohy for our CA budget issue is to make the cell phone fines like 1,500.

After one ticket - would you EVER risk it again?

Yeah - i was afraid to look under the rear mat. When i popped the trunk, it went open but there was no way in hell it would close again.

All the lines in the rear are off. And the buckled rear driver panel does not bode well either. Bodyshp owner - who I've used for 15+ years - was like -"not sure if we can save that part - may have to replace. IF we replace - then i'll take a photo of the interior door stickers and have them recreated, as they don't come with the replacement panels."

Who knew?

And did you look at my exhaust tips? I'm sure i'll be getting a whole new one.

I'm guessing this is an easy 6k+.

BTW - thanks for the support guys.

It sucks for all of us when this happens.

Bluetooth needs to be standard on all cars. Majority of the population uses smartphones with this capability. This can drastically reduce such situations and occurrences like this.

Sorry to read and see and hope you're okay physically...
