Ark Exhaust for Coupes

I was thinking of getting new ARK exhaust cause they sound mean, but I have no clue whether or not I need a new intake system?

Welcome to the forums. I suggest you start doing some reading and researching. There's a lot of information on here. At this point, I dont understand what youre asking. Why would you need an intake in order to get an exhaust?

Oh sorry, I was gonna get an exhaust, but some friends told me Stock intake + ark exhaust wont sound as good as Stillen Gen 3 intake + ark exhaust. dont know if it will actually make a difference in the sound or not and if intake actually increases power..

I've had the Ark exhaust without the intake and it sounded nice. After adding the Stillen Gen3, it just sounded alot meaner! It doesn't matter if you don't add the intake yet. It still sounds nice without it.

Well, sound is very subjective. Everyone has different opinions on exhaust and intake sounds. But you can always get the exhaust first and then decide whether you want an intake. Again, there are many choices and many reviews on this forum. There are some dynos that show Stillen intake does increase power. However, I do suggest you do some searching before committing to a decision.

Stillen Gen 3's make more power as they're a true cold air intake vs the R2C's that sit in the engine bay and draw hot air.

I have the ARK on my coupe and i love it. Added the intakes (takeda long tubes) after a few months and can't say they made a huge difference in sound coming from the exhaust. I love the Ark with and without the intakes. Good luck
