right, but id feel alot better if i got it checked out with another mechanic, and they said that they were willing to to do that. So if they are willing to let me do that, then that makes me feel better.

whats up DJ? I came from an SRT-4 too. I love my G but still miss the crazyness of the SRT somedays. Wish I had it for a weekend car.

But besides that. Take it to another shop have them look at it and tell them what happened. My whole car was encased in ice last year when we had an ice storm and I put it in first and drove away with no hesitation. If this deal doesn't work out there will be another one.

Dude, to be honest... F*** this dealership and this guy and run from this selazebag and start your search for a G all over. There are plenty out there and I am sure you can find another with the exact same specs in that price range!

Car's wheels were frozen my @ss! That is seriously the biggest BS story I Have ever heard! You said you even tried to engage at 4k right? I dont think I could buy that story if the G only had the power of a Prius! Something was locked up... maybe the e-brake was stuck or possibly something else but it doesnt seem like the clutch. Maybe the sales guy is an idiot and honestly beleives his story and he somehow got whatever was stuck to unlock but it was not frozen wheels. Get the car checked out at the very least by another dealership and make sure any problem they list is going to be fixed before you sign... Maybe it is not a horrible issue and can be fixed instead of finding a new one but that guy who is trying to sell you the car is NOT to be trusted!

I'd pass on it if I was in your situation. But that's just me. Just sounds too fishy...

I really do want the car. I called the dealership and they said they are willing to let me take it and get it checked by another guy. I think if the other guy gives me the pass then ill take the deal. And trust me i dont trust him for a sec, they keep repeating to me that it is a CPO car and its had a 192 pt enspection lol. So my plan is to get it checked by a mechanic tomorrow morning and if he says anything bad at all im not gonna take the deal. The infiniti delership even said that i probably shouldnt take it to an nissan dealership because they will probably tell me to fix something that shouldnt be fixed. And aparently my warrenty is about to exp in a nother year and they want me to me to get the eliete warrenty.

Is the extended warrenty even worth it for our cars?

So you have a situation with a car that just mysteriously won't go for some unexplainable reason that you have not yet purchased and you are still willing to still consider buying it? Did I miss something? You should simply walk away from this car right now and never look back. Warranty or not, if you buy this car, you are likely to post another thread asking what's wrong with my car at some point. Leave. Buy a different car that drives.

^^ +1 I agree. Its hard to walk away when you fall in love with that car, but it's not worth the troubles you could face in the near future. Too much potential risk IMO.

+1 stop wasting time on this deal and walk away! If it happened once it will occur itself again in the future so save yourself while you still can.

I'll say to leave the deal and find another g too.

Doesn't sound right to me either. Come on, hundreds of g's out there still for sale.

It's like hot sex... You're so blinded and infatuated by it that you over look the fact that she doesn't know how to cook, how to clean house, how to add, you know all the domestic functions a wife/gf should be able to do.

As others have said, don't waste your time on this on. My old car sat for up to 2 weeks at a time in subfreezing temps (10-20F), fired right up (synthetic oil!!), and drove with no incidents. Sure I had to slip the clutch slightly to break the wheels loose, but it was a non event.

You'll find another car like it (well, hopefully not exactly like it, but you get the idea) in no time.
