so im planning to buy a used 2008 g37 coupe. and i found out that the 2008 g37 coupe has 2 different types of bumpers out there ..
type (A)
Type (B)

and my question are .. which is which?? sport? basic? and can they be swapped?
please help!!!

 

For 2008-2010, type A is the front bumper that comes on all non-sport coupes while the G37S sport model gets the type B front bumper

Then in 2011 they switched it all up and the type B bumper is standard and even includes foglight options for the smaller grilles on the sides of the front bumper, while the IPL/Aero bumper is what the sport coupes get

You got most of it right.... In 2011 type B

 

That's correct. I got the Non-sport model.. And I replaced it with a sport bumper with no problem!

 

Stupid cell fone. What I meant to say was in 2011 they actually have a sport bumper which is in my profile pic and comes on the 2011 sport. The aero bumper comes only with the aero pkg which is about 4 grand extra. All the coupe bumpers can be swapped....

 

The second one is a sport bumper and yes they can all be swapped
