Opened the door...

And the door came back onto my leg as I was coming out... That's not the problem. Problem was my knee was by the speaker cover, and it poked a hole/rip into the cover... F---!! Not a big deal, but I hate when stupid things like this happen. It's like losing $20 or $30. Not going to make a break you in the long run, but you'd just rather not lose it.

I would of let the door chop my leg off rather than busting the speaker cover. Those covers are too precious.

Lol. I heard a rip and I looked and was like "damn". I'm going to leave it like that. I just think that I could waste money on something someone could see rather than repair something someone wouldn't even notice. I'll try and get some pics.

I have a small crack in my speaker cover too. Not sure how or when it happened, but I'm sure it was from having to prevent the door from swinging back on my leg too. I think it'd actually be pretty expensive to replace. There doesn't appear to be any separation between the cover and the rest of the door panel so we'd probably have to get an entirely new door panel unless there was a way to repair just the speaker cover.

You think that's bad/dumb. I walk out of a store and the sun shines on the passenger side - whole side looks scratched up.

I walk over, run my hand along it and feel a bunch of scratches. I have no idea how scratches could get there. It would be physically impossible for a car to hit at that angle and cause that.

I'm so pissed. I spend hours looking up scratch remedies.

Then I realize after a wash that it was just dirt.

so pathetic lol

Be careful when opening these doors. A gust of wind caught mind like a sail. Hit the guy next to me. Didn't do anything to his door protector. Mine however dented and cracked my paint. Ruined my day.
