Sat in a friends Lexus

And noticed a cool feature where every time he would reverse, the side mirrors would automatically go down for easier parking. Can this be programmed on our G?

What really sucks is that this is standard on all Infiniti models, aside from the G.

Several of the rental cars had that. It's useful if you're trying to see where the curb is, but becomes difficult to see anything else around you.

Now I'm pissed.
it's been on the bmw m's for a while too. S ooworkers 04 M3's got it.
From 2004. Come on infiniti LOL.

On a side note, you can jus program button 2 on the door to have the mirrors tilted downwards.

Read it properly.

$60 for either (both) mirror tilt module and $60 for the nav bypass or $100 for both the nav bypass and tilt module...

My wife has this on her Acura....when I first got the car the cool factor was high.

Now everytime I back out of my driveway I curse it...why? Because while the passenger mirror is faced down towards the ground, I cant see if people are walking on the sidewalk that intersects with our driveway. It gets even worse as you are going down an incline, then ALL you see is ground and it actually gets a little disorienting because you just see a sea of black pavement.

Sux the G doesnt have it, because you could always turn it off....the KP tech module is the next best thing I guess.

IIRC the overseas version of the G DOES have the tilting mirrors....but I could be wrong about that.
