Instead of dwelling on what the G doesn't have ... let's not forget what it does have. As most people agree the looks, performance, ride, thrill and cost factor all make it hard to beat.

I used to have this on my TL. Admittedly it was very useful when parking next to the curb. So in the G I just tilted my mirrors down and programmed it to my 2nd memory setting. If I need to tilt my mirrors, I just need to hit the 2 button. After I'm done parking, I hit the 1 button to reorient the mirrors

Great idea there. Too bad my wife uses position 2!

BMW actually does it best. When in reverse with the power mirror adjuster selector set to 'L' in NA, the passenger mirror tilts down, so that you can see the curb when parallel parking. When set to 'R', mirror does not tilt down. For RH drive vehicles, it's total opposite. My 335i and previous 540i had this and I must admit it was a great feature. I do wish I had this in the G. I've looked at the KP Tech module and it seems like a hassle and I can live without it.

With the camera and the sensors I really don't need the mirrors to tilt down. That feature is available on the maxima as well but the maxima doesn't automatically sync the mirrors and steering wheel when you adjust the seats like the G. One Option that i really wish my G has was the power folding mirrors. Its aggravating when i manually fold my mirrors when leaving the car then realize they're still folded when I'm already on my way to my next destination. Now I have to stop and unfold them.

Don't need it. Don't want it. I simply use the remote control to lower the pass. side mirror if backing into a spot with a curb on that side which I wish to hug. Would likely drive me nuts if the mirrors tilted down on their own. Infiniti: leave the mirrors alone and instead replace the Blows entertainment system with a good set up and better speakers.
