here in Canada, some brand new are offered with an 8000$ rebate. I have to say that it's near Montreal, and RWD car are not the most populars

If I'm not mistaken, we have a valet mode on our cars that limits the RPMs to like 3,000 and the speed to 25 mph. That way, they can try, but they can't have any fun.

Also something to consider, does it snow a lot where you live? might want to get a 2011 g37x s coupe like I did, however I saw a 2011 ipl for only 2k more with not so high miles. So if i were in say, Miami, i would have just gone with IPL. Like some one mentioned, you already have a head start w mods on ipl, but then there is preference in body kit, some like ipls some don't, I'm happy w my choice for now, good luck

The S is the way to go. The only thing on the IPL I would want is the exhaust. Its a little more aggressive sounding. IMO the kit on the IPL is a little cartoonish...I am extremely happy with my S. My 2 cents

I would go with the IPL if they were around the same price. I love the IPL wheels and more hp is always a good thing. I think I am done modding for the most part. I'd rather keep the car stock and have it done right from the factory.

I don't think the IPL is worth the significant cost premium over an S. They're also heavier than a standard S if I remember correctly, so the extra HP is really meaningless.

G37s fully loaded & buy aftermarket performance parts and the IPL body kit (if you want that) on your own and save $$. The only thing I like about the IPL is the red interior. Other than that you can buy the sport and add things to it on your own for less money and get better performance. The sport already has a better suspension than the base models but if you want seriously good handling springs/coils and swaybar upgrades are the way to go. I got my Eibach springs & sways for $500 shipped to my door and it handles and feels sooo much better and sportier than it did stock.
