About month ago got call from dealer that I have to do 15K service and if I like he will make appoitment. So I did, but I said - I need oil change only and maybe some extras but not from your list. He said OK.
When I came, first thing he said - we are doing 15K service today. I said WHAT??? I just need oil change based on book from Nissan. He said OK, but you will wait untill all other people are done (Sat)!!!
Well, I said lets see this list of 15K service you have. I took it and told him, what if I will do something else from this list should I wait? He said no I picked wiper blades inserts replacement and checkups (free anyway). Since I brought my own oil total was OK

No never, they are trying to hustle you. If the said to me I would never go back to their dealership and talk to the GM on whats going on......

 

I know, but that seem best Infiniti dealer in my area, I tried two other and they are even worse on service. Could it be just global financial crisis effect?

 

just go to walmart and grab urself a car ramp and diy save urself the hassle.

15k service is essential and must be done at the dealership! You're Xenon headlight fluid could be low, which would be a huge problem. It's also totally normal for a dealership to prioritize their customers by how much they are spending as opposed to appointment time. Good call getting the extra stuff done.

 

Yea, gotta watch that bi-xenon differential fluid level....if it gets low, your HID's will turn purple overtime.

Anyway in according to service book from Infiniti you should not do anything besides oil change to your car until over 60K. Maybe reading it should help? Also as I said they did all required CHECKS which is normally free anyway ....
