Great site here, a lot of useful information. Quick question for anyone that has had a similar experience: How much should it cost to replace a black front bumper (including painting, installation, etc) on a 2008 G37 coupe in Northern NJ? I am just looking to put on a stock front bumper, nothing customized. I have received quotes from a few auto body shops in the $950-$1000 range which seems pretty high given that the bumper itself only runs around $400. That 950-1000 estimate included 4 hours of painting the bumper @ 50/hour which seemed pretty extreme in itself. I thought it would help if I was paying straight up cash vs. putting it through insurance but it did not seem to make any difference in the price estimate. If anyone has had a similar experience or has any insight as to how much something like this should run, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

Order the bumper from orderinfinitiparts.com. it comes painted already and its easy to install yourself. I think the bumper is around 400 and that includes painting.

 

WRONG!!! no way you can get an 08 front bumper for 400 painted. There is a bumper that comes painted already with a price tag of 1000+ cant remember which one.

 

OP, contact brad at orderinfinitiparts.com. the 08 bumper is $283.48. Look it up online. I've used them before, great service and price and its all direct from factory parts.
