yeppp! stock exhaust note is straight sex!

 

You need to hear the GTR it has the same 3.7 nissian power but with twin turbos. I love the sound of my stock exhaust too. I'm still looking for the stock sound with more power. Let me know what you end up with.

Just purchased an 08 sport 6mt and this stock exhaust seems to actually get better with time. Because mine sounds so much more open than newer ones i hear around my area.

 

That prob bc 08's were known to be louder since they were the first gen G37 coupe. The g35 in 03 was known to be loud too and some people complained about it.

 

Stock sound is indeed pleasant. Anything louder, and it is annoying inside the car.

 

you have no idea how happy this quote made me....haha, i got rear ended a few weeks ago, pretty bad. ordered tanabes immediately, should get my car back by next wed...its kind of sad how much i am looking fwd to this sound

btw, the stock exhaust is one of the main selling points for me and my 08 G37s 6mt

 

I absolutely loved the sound of my 2007 G35 Coupe's exhaust.
Driving with the windows down was one of life's great pleasures!
That being said, the engine sound from the inside wasn't that fantastic.

My new 2011 G37XS Coupe is a different beast. The exhaust note is different, and when heard from outside the car, even better than the 35's.
It's just not as audible as the 35's was from inside the car.

That being said, driving with the windows up is a new pleasure with this car.
The engine sound is fantastic from the inside, something I wasn't used to and really love.

 

supercharged HFC and mxp exhaust note is pure sex. i set off car alarms as i zoom by.

 

Hmm am I the only one that thinks the G37's stock note is almost non-existent? Coming from a 350Z, the stock exhaust was even more noticeable.

Nevertheless aftermarket exhaust parts are a must!

I just sold my 370z and got a G37 and let me tell you that the exhaust on the 370z doesn't even come close to the sound that the G37 makes! the 370z is great but the exhaust is kinda weak sauce compared to the G37, but i totally agree with you the G37 sounds sooooo bad *** stock!

 

Dude the stock exhaust is sooooo sex!
