Spending way too much money

Just purchased Stillen Grill, Roof Wing, Splitter and 20'' Vertini wheels, will post pics when I have it all set up. Now I am thinking about an Injen air intake to go with the Magnaflow Catback exhaust I put on a few months ago. This is getting ridiculous!

I'm waiting for my car to be paid off before I think about putting extra money into it. Probably this year.

Luckily, this was the first time in my like that I got a car with almost everything I could ever want, so I'm just happy to drive and wash it

since then (4 months) i have done another cold air intake, sway bars, springs, tint, PD, paddles, wheels, bumper, skirts, GTspec strut brace and rear tie brace, Sena ground kit, exhaust, spacers, and LED's, and probably a few things im forgetting ll

just be glad your modding an infiniti. modding a bmw would cost you double as parts are just more expensive for some reason... but you got wheels which will probably be your biggest expense, so now everything else will seem cheap

just got rims/bbk/exhuast in the past few months, look at this way, you can sell most of the mods when you sell your car and make back 50-75% of your money back. so its not too horrible

In the first 4 months of owning my car I said I wasnt going to do anything but save to buy e46 m3 so I would have 2 cars again(my ****vic tranny died and the EM2's are the worst chassis ever). well, i completely ruined that idea last month. over the past month I've bought the oem front lip, mudflaps, Autokits-x rear cf diffuser, SPC front and rear camber kit, gtr push start button thx to dieseldoug22, Eibach Pro Kit, Project Kics R26 lugs, DPE S20's, and 3m tint on all windows but windshield. Within the next 3 months I plan on buying tires for my wheels(i have another month before the DPE's come in), GTSpec front strut bar(getting this done in black chrome), Hotchkis Sway bars, Status Elite CF engine cover, Status Elite radiator shroud, Injen Gen 3 CAI(redoing piping in black chrome), Berk HFC, JIC Magic coilovers(still not finished for the X's), and GTHaus Meisterschaft exhaust(almost done with development for the sedans). Most people would be done with all that but over the winter I plan on going with Rotora BBK or Akebono's, get the JP Vizage lip for the older S coupe's molded into a newer nonsport front bumper or if Technocraft ever gets back at me with their cf lip they're making, and a cf trunk from Challenge USA if I dont like the Strafespeed one(I really want double sided CF though).

My wife gave me a bunch of crap about my hobby a couple years ago, and I told her that I think its stupid that I paid $8400 for her engagement ring, so she has the right to think my hobby of modding my cars is ridiculous.

Needless to say, she changed her tune shortly after, and now she even attends meets with me! LOL

The mod bug bites and it bites hard! New stuff coming out all the time and most of us are never satisfied. One thing I've learned the hard way though is to get quality parts the FIRST TIME around. So no money and time and possibly reputation is lost.

Thats all I gots to say about that.

Its an addiction for sure but you sit on the forums see the vision of what you want your g to look like when it is done and then how do you not just keep modding to make it happen. And then you get everything one and something new comes out!
