love thy neighbor.... until they hit your G in the church parking lot!

I just got my G, back in Sept. Of 2010, when I visited my mom's church out in the valley. I got to church a little late, and the parking lot was full, so I double parked behind a mini van.

When service was over I walked out side to a crowd of people near my car and I thought they checkn out my new ride. But actually one of the older ladies backed into my car! She was soo sorry, and she said she'll pay for fixing it. I looked where she backed into, and I was so pissed, right into a crease which is almost impossible to st8n out, but I couldn't do anything.

I clenched my teeth and said ah is ok don't worry about it.... suck to be a Christian at that moment.. lol

The lot was full but you were able to double park in the same lot?

While it is admirable, do you think you'd be as kind?!

Th4t r3ally sux, d00d.

Presumably, she is a Christian, too. I feel like she should have gone the extra mile and insisted to repair the damage.

ha ha, tough crowd here.

Hats off to you man.

An elderly lady side swiped my rear bumper with her front bumper and it scratched some paint off. I got her insurance company but never did file for a claim.

I woulda punched that old bi4tch in the face!

JK - just wanted the most non-christian response possible. haha.

Sorry to hear about this man! I kinda agree that the christian thing to do would have been for her to offer her insurance, not saddle you with the cost of an expensive repair that she was at fault for (assuming your double parking was reasonable). The other side of the coin is that Big J died for our sins, your car sacrificed for hers, so you are like the hero here. Hope you get a shout out a church next time.

Do the Christians where you live not carry insurance to cover things like this? You know that the law mandates it, and being a good Christian usually entails being a law abiding citizen. I don't see how it's the "Christian" thing to do by not filing a claim against her insurance. That's what premiums are paid for, to cover things like this.
