love thy neighbor.... until they hit your G in the church parking lot!
Do the Christians where you live not carry insurance to cover things like this? You know that the law mandates it, and being a good Christian usually entails being a law abiding citizen. I don't see how it's the "Christian" thing to do by not filing a claim against her insurance. That's what premiums are paid for, to cover things like this.

she called several times to exchange information, but i declined. i was pissed but not pissed enough i guess.
and to clarify the double parked thing, i didnt park behind any car. i parked far enough so that any car to backup. she just didn't see my car and just backed into it.
i dont mind paying for the bill any way. ill just tell her to contibute that money to the church.

So she has insurance, accepted fault, tried to give you her information to file a claim to get compensated for the damages, and you refused? What am I missing? Because that just sounds plain silly.
very silly.. i should be shot.
but i wonder if this happened outside the church would i have done the same thing? thats why i said it sux'd to be christian at that moment. i just did what i felt was right atm.
Being the place, the time, the person, and what you did to attend the service..
I would let it go, and eat the expense.
Everythings for a reason.
I always check around my vehicle before getting in it.

-the people that go to church because they feel guilty of the horrible life they lead.
-the people who only go to church because they have nothing and believe that God is there only path to "financial salvation".
-the people that go to church so that they can prey upon those of faith. They use religion as a means to gain trust in an effort to con "gullible" members out of their savings.
-the people that run churches for financial gain.
Earl, I think you did the right thing. Kudos.
