Hello everyone!

I'm looking to buying an aftermarket exhaust system. I'm particularly looking for one thats not stupid loud, but has that deep grumble tone to it. Kinda like the STi's sound with an aftermarket but not as loud. Anyone have any suggestions?! Thanks!!

 

I just put on my Invidia Gemini Last night....love it..Its really deep and perfect, not loud at all though...just right..If you want deep and loud go ARK...But I think the Invidia Sounds ****ing sick

 

It's going to be hard to replicate the sound of a turbocharged boxer engine in a G37. But lot's of members recommend Ark, Fast Intentions, MXP. I think MXP would be closest to the sound you're going for.

 

I'll have to look for a youtube video for that one. Definitely wanna hear it!

I've heard some youtube one of the Fast Intentions one. That one sounds the best so far from hearing clips. I'm looking for that happy median of its not sounding super loud like an STI & not sounding so soft like an M3/M5.

 

Just listened to the Magnaflow one & Invidia Q300...those sound sick as well!

 

like i said you're better off to listen to them in person.

haha so true..STIs do sound sick though....But yeah..

 

take a look at the tanabe medalion exhaust. i just got mine put on two days ago, and im in love with the car all over again. you get a nice, deep rumble at low rpms, while still having that signature sound at high rpms that you got with the stock exhaust. if youre looking for just sound, and dont really care about hp gains, def check it out.

Still an axle back right? Anyone know when or if they're going to make the full cat back exhaust? I had the full medalion touring on my previous car which was an Acura Integra GSR. It was an excellent product: light weight, tasteful looking for an aftermarket mod, nice and subdued when driving normally and amazing at WOT. This would be my choice if they made it. Good luck on your choice.

 

Gotta buy the center and y-pipe separate. Makes it a real pain to get all 3 pieces

 

i believe you can buy the mid and y pipes seperatley from tanabe... and damnnn dude whered that gsr end up? i was in the search for an ITR before i got the g37, i love true gsr's
