Aluminum door handles solutions?

So my inside aluminum door handles are scratched up from wear and tear, does anyone have a solution to fix it? would buffing them with steel wool work? or sanding them with sandpaper? any suggestions would be great.

Take it to the dealer. They are authorized to replace these under warranty as well as the whole steering wheel if you have scratches on the controls.
I got both of these done under warranty.

I'd be surprised if those were covered also. The brown paint is coming off of the center console seat divider between the two back seats. Had it at the dealer for service and they refuse to replace that.

Go to a different dealership. make sure you tell them they changed the design because they were scratching so easy. I was going to pay for mine when the dealer said they are authorized to do under warranty.

Does anyone have pictures of what the scratching looks like? I have some scratches on my wheel, but I dont know if they are enough to warrant a replacement.

On my aluminum door pulls they were pretty bad, but on my steering wheel there are a couple less than 1/4" long. Still replacing it. My leather on my wheel was getting worn out which was more of the worry for me going through the trouble. They dont replace the bezel but replace the whole wheel.

Thumbs down Need to purchase a replacement Door Grab Cover

Hi all - -

I have, and love, a 2009 G37 convertible with wood trim.

Any suggestions where I can purchase a driver's interior door grab handle replacement cover? Mine suddenly disappeared two days ago and I can't find where it fell off - - it's not in the car!

I understand there are two different "colors" available. The infinity dealer closest to me stocks them for $75 ea + tax.

Thanks in advance!
