Yurp, I thought about that but decided to go a different direction. Trying something a little different. Yeah 300 per fog is bonkers, i ended up getting them fur 170 from onlineparts. The 2 faux grilles have holes in the with the chrome around them in which the fogs match up perfectly with the holes as well as the washer fluid tank, so it would be hard to make it look right with a different aftermarket fog. should be done tomorrow

so if you buy the '11 bumper, make your own mesh, dont want the foglights (as much as i do i want the fogs down low ), you could run the 11 bumper with no accessories?

pretty sure, remember my car is an 08 sport and I have the 11 sport bumper. I cant confirm that this will fit on a 08-10 non sport, nor can I can confirm that the new IPL bumpers fit. Most likely everything should be direct fit. But yes if you have a sport bumper now and want to buy a 2011 sport bumper and make your own mesh that would be all you would need. You will also have to paint it.

ok great thanks. i read somewhere on here a while ago someone with a non-sport bought a sport bumper and it worked. its the exact same front end, i dont see why the mounts would be in a different place. then again i have the AWD. guess il find out when i take my bumper off for the Gen3 lol

Don't know the dimensions of the new bumper in that area but you could even just heat up the original tank and remold it a bit when it's soft. Just an idea...could save some $$

Thanks for the info man. I was considering this for a while but it may not be feasible for me anymore.

My question is, how would you wire the foglights? and will it have a seperate switch?

nope, they are going to be wired in to the main lights switch, so all you have to do is turn your normal headlights on, same switch.

Yup, probably not getting it back until tomorrow now. We have to wait for a part, we need a pigtail to hook up with the foglights to make them run off the main switch, and infiniti only sells the whole wiring harness which is expensive so we might switch out the bulbs or see if we can find a pigtail that works
