This might be a newb question but what is the difference between the stillen grounding kit and black bettys grounding kit? is there a difference? i know black betty sells them. Dont know which to buy? also what can improve throttle lag the most i got some ideas from the previous thread but i would like more insight. Any advice please thanks!

i would go with BB grounding kit. It looks much better then stillen, you can have any color combination you want and betty's wire are much thicker than stillen's

I wish I could tell you which route to go, but unfortunately for me I felt no difference after installing my Grounding Kit on my 7AT. Lag is still there, even after proper installation. Grounding Kits are more of a cosmetic mod, IMO. They look great if you have a painted Engine Cover, Radiator Cover, Intake, etc.

Grounding kits are a placebo mod, or if you have already come to terms with that, a engine bay dress up mod.

I had the transmission reprogram also, and same crap. I even had the transmission reprogram WHILE the kit was on. So definitely Placebo Effect.

Umm.. I dont know if you have been following your own thread, but the majority of us have said NO. Hence the word, Placebo Effect.

IMO yes it does, depending on what RPM you shift at. you gotta find the sweet spots. i didnt believe it till i did it either. but then again my kit is much more thorough than BB or stillens.

why would so many people have it if it didnt do anything lol

Well for one reason, people will buy anything if you tell them it does something to their car, i.e., increase horsepower or fly. Additionally, the only ones who ever made reviews are those who actually "felt" their shifting improved. Where is the real data? nowhere. Is there a fix to our lag? hell no. It is what it is with our cars. We can either deal with it, or bitch all day. That simple. I like my kit cause it looks good under the hood, thats all. I never had any expectation for my shifting to improve when I purchased the 4 AWG kit.
