I just put on my stillen grille assembly and my stock front emblem wont fit and I cant even trim it to make it fit. Any suggestions?? are there different sizes or something wtf.

 

i bought this grill too and returned it cause from what stillen told me is infiniti has two sizes of their front emblem cause they have two manufactures that made the emblems. one fits and the other doesnt. check your grille cause quality control sucks for them. the one that i bought looked like a blind person made it lol. just my personal experience. good luck

 

Use a dremel to trim a little bit of each side. That's what I had to do back when I still had mine. Just grind a lil bit off at a time until your emblem fits snugly.

 

you need to find the emblem with 5 "X" 's on the back of it. It is the only way to tell. It is 1/8 of an inch smaller and fits. Call around and ask the parts people to check on the back of the emblem. This also can be solved by finding the production dates your emblem and getting a production date from a different one. I have an 09 g37 coupe and I bought the Stillen grille flat black one and my emblem fit perfect, it doesn't go on like the other stock grille u actually slip it right on in the front its a little confusing but if u play wit it it should go right in

 

Yeah, some work. You just need to find the ones that do work which have x's on the back. Like I said the two different sizes are based on production dates and they are a 1 eighth inch difference......

 

While you guys are talking about the front emblem mine is peeling a bit so if anyone has an extra I'll buy it I just have the midnight grille so either size fits.

 

I think I have an extra one from when I put my stillen grille on, let me check and ill let you know
