Me also...
I wait for that lowest tick before moving, but only when weather is lower than 50 degrees. I usually wait 1 minute when its higher than 50 but just sort of idle down the street. By the time I get to the connecting road, it's warm but I still drive easy for a few minutes as the transmission warms up. I can feel the shifting get easier after a while and then I drive normally.

I just start it up and go. On really cold morning 30 seconds, just to get the defroster going.

If you warm up your car for more then a minute with modern FI cars you're just wasting fuel.

I used to warm it 5-10 minutes during breakin, now about 2-3 mins when above 50 out and 4-5 mins when below 50. Warming before driving is good..

i always turn on my car and let it get to operating temp before driving it.. ive only once didnt because on an emergency situation.
