Angry Resolved: Tanabe Medallion Fraud "Chelag37"

Ok guys I really got screwed here! I started this thread to get a hold of some Tanabe Mufflers and everything went wrong. After starting this thread, Someone PMd me w a link to UCLA Bruins FS Tanabe Thread and claimed he purchased and never installed, I was very interested so he said he bought for 550 and would let go for $450 shipped, well this deal wa made on the 23rd of December! And still to this day , this person "Chelag37" has not answered PMs or emails or text .... I set him $425 paypal and he never set the mufflers . If anyone gets Contacted by this guy DO NOT BUY nothing from him he is a Fraud....
How safe is it to to transactions on here ? I'm very cautious now how I do my purchases , I have bought and sold many times on this forum and never screwed anyone over, whoever this peson is "chelag37" just want u to know that what u did is really Fd up ....

Well here is the problem the seller had said to me if I sent as a GIFT he would not get payapal fees so the person who bought my Fast Int catback had sent $$$ for me to chelag37 ? Currently we filed Fraud disputes and now we just waiting to see what happens . I'm not expeecting any $$ back but we will see what happens anyway .

So I bought Fast Int originally for

$1400 shipped
Sold $900
Paid $70 for swap
Got screwedfor $425

So $405 I ended up w really fukn blows.

Can mods sticky this, or sticky a thread w/ all known fraud aliases? I've read about a few others

prior to purchasing, did you even bother trying to contact the origanl seller, asking him if he indeed sell it to fraud guy?

How many posts/transactions does the seller have? Did you talk to him or do any research on him? It sucks there are suck scum bags out there and I hate to say it but some of the blame falls on you too.

I did contact UCLA Bruin and he later replied he didn't know this person or recognized the email given . Like I said I do transactions all the time so I didn't think it was not legit.

So then after doing some research I found this guy is a Fraud .

Damn bro sorry to hear about your misfortune, but I agree with the others you should had contact him prior if sending $$. He only had 2 posts that's a BIG red flag. Sorry for your loss, but look at it like this he will pay for what he did to you/others so no worries there is a watchman above all of us that's taking notes of all our actions.

Diego I think this Forum logs IP's. It would be a start in legally hunting him down. Ask a moderator for his IP log.
