I feel your pain on being the nice guy and someone doing this. The same thing happened to me at work. To this day I think it was someone that worked with me because I was parked at the back of the parking lot where most employees park. I don't know if they did it on purpose or accident, but if it was an accident they could have at least told me. And it still kinda bothers me almost a year later that I still don't know who did it. That's the worst part about it, not the damage.

But DAMN that's expensive for a side mirror! But mine was enough damage to make an insurance claim with a $500 deductible.

I hope you find out who did it.

Hahahaha thanks I'm not super religious so no biggy.
I found a junk yard that has one in Bronx, ny. They said it's really good condition and is 334.00 shipped. So I'll call monday.
I technically only need the frame part that connects to the door and the swivel part. The entire shell and mirror are fine

I'd give them a hard time about the price. A new one isn't a whole heck of a lot more.

Sorry Dude I feel the pain but more the anger! I had someone a while back hit my cars side mirror in my office parking lot and no one said a word to me! I'm still deciding on getting a Viper alarm with proxiemty detector. Those alrams now beep you when your car is damdged or broken into. I guess the next best thing is a security camera but that may be too much.

Both mirrors have memory settings. At least in the Sport model they do.

Set your good mirror downward and store it to your second seat memory and see if it changes when you press 1 and 2, that's how you know if it has memory.
