Put taller tires on the rear so the car will always be driving down hill.

I seem to get better milage in the highway w/ out Cruise Control. When I went to vegas, my car averaged 31MPG with cruise control off. On the way back, I got 26MPG with cruise control on.

My G has a hybrid side. I drove to Cali and back to Vegas and I averaged 28.7MPG. My girlfriend could believe her eyes. Over 500 miles for a full tank of octane 91. Driving around 75-85mph

I recommend deploying a sail... as long as the wind is going in the right direction.

For you guys making the So Cal to Vegas run:

Are you guys looking at the car to display the instantaneous mileage or are you calculating by hand to get avg MPG per tank at fill up?

cruise control is good on flat land...but for hill it rapes your gas....

what works best for me is to keep the same amount of pressure on the gas before the incline then ride the momentum back down to your original speed...where as when cruise control is on it will compensate for incline reducing gas mileage
