Leather vs. Vinyl Interior Pieces-2010 Coupe

Does anyone know which parts are actually leather versus vinyl? I have graphite/black interior (2010 Coupe).

Trying to determine which parts to Lexol leather condition vs. Lexol vinyl protectant.

Thanks.

The part of the seats that your body comes into contact with (not the headrest); that's it. So the top of the bottom cushion, top of the bottom bolsters, front of the back cushion, and fronts of the side bolsters.

The headrest isn't leather?

It seems like the headrest is not leather as it does not crease like the seats.

Can anybody advise if any of the armrest area on back seat or any part of the door panels are leather? They don't seem to crease like leather so I am thinking vinyl.

How about the console areas or shifter boot?

"Leather Seating Surfaces" ... this is what honest advertising will say but I haven't seen it worded that way in a while. MY 1998 Sienna Van said that but most people gloss over and think they are getting all leather seats. Even most leather furniture is that way (not our Natuzzi sectional, 100% leather everywhere). My Sterling was 100% leather all the way around as well (best leather yet I've seen in an affordable car, too bad the car had so many other flaws).

They usually say that somewhere in fine print at the back of the brochure. "Leather seating surfaces" is a really specific term. For example, the armrest in the rear seat of the sedan is not leather. Although it folds up into the seat back so you can use it as a seat it's not technically a seating surface.

Not many cars have full leather seating, and the G37 is no exception. At the rate the leather creases and bubbles, I'd rather have the vinyl. Wow, can't believe I just said that. Yep...

Infiniti uses the term "leather appointed interior".

I don't think the side bolsters are leather either. They feel synthetic to me....

Correct, just the parts of the seat your butt and back touch and the steering wheel.

Don't get me wrong though, I love the seats as-is. Synthetic materials these days are almost as good as real leather while also being more durable....
