Can anyone suggest a good paintless dent removal place in SoCal? I found a large, shallow dent on the rear-side panel. I hve no idea what happened. It looks like someone fell or ran into my car . So sad. It's one large dent in the middle where the crease is and two medium sized dents on each side. I got an estimate for $350.. he said it would like about 4 hours to fix, but I can't afford to pay that much right now. If someone can refer me to a decently priced place, I would really appreciate it. THANK YOU!

Sorry to see that man. At least the panel is relatively accessible, and as long as the paint is not breached, it should be okay and relatively easy to fix. Best of luck with the repairs!

 

I would try and bang it out myself if its not to bad and the paint has not cracked... but that's just me... sorry to see, I'd be pissed if I came back to my car to see this.

 

damn, now that just sucks... Try using google and find some local shops. Simply ask around, you will find the right shop.

 

I can refer you if you'd like. I had my dent fixed perfectly, though it was not as big . . .

 

Don't laugh now, but have you tried the old and tried plunger method? If you can't afford dent repairs right now do this:
Take a small bathroom plunger, clean the dented surface, moisten the plunger's sealing surface (rim), push gently in the middle of the dented area, get a good seal and pull firmly on the plunger.
On large creases like yours the metal will pop out and leave you with much smaller dents.

 

You can also try the compressed air and hair/blow dryer method. I've heard of people heating the paint and panel and then blowing air on it. They use the air in a can thats used to clean keyboards and such. I'm not sure if you can just use an air compressor.

I've never seen it done or have tried it, but I heard of people doing it. So its just a thought and you can try it at your own risk.

 

I can't stand folks that don't respect other peoples property. 3 jerks purposely rammed a Walmart grocery cart into the side of our 08 Toyota Highlander. My daughter was in the car when it happened and saw them run away. I filed a police report and they told me they probably would have "finished off" my car if my daughter hadn't been in it. Some sort of "gang initiation" thing apparently. Just ticks me off. Sorry for your damage and I know how you feel.
