What should I do? Plz help me.

Hi, all
I bought a 2010 g37 journey 3 month ago, and
it's just run 2200 miles. Bad smell came from
air conditioner around 2 weeks ago. I did spray
sanitizer and lysol into the vent near winshield,
but never ends.
Should I go to the dealer? Does my warranty covers
this thing or not?

you could always take it into the dealer since you are well under warranty, but what kind of smell is it? that could help determine the source of the smell

Just spraying stuff into your vents isn't going go do anything.

It's probably the cabin air filter but since it's so new taking it to the dealer is a definite option

Define bad smell. Is it a moldy odor?

Your cabin filter should be fine since it's only been three months...yeah go complain to the dealer.

Does it only smell after you turn off your AC? If yes, then it's normal.

Turn up the heat to maximum and blast the heat for ten minutes. That will kill any organic stuff that might be the culprit.

Even new cars might have stuff built up in the ducts if they were left on the lot for a long time.

If the smell persists take it to your dealer.

Hope this helps.

I wouldn't say any smell is "normal"...I've never had any bad smells at any time...

Maybe he's driving on some back roads with the outside air vent open and went past a skunk or cows or something?

Define bad smell.

If it's a moldy smell then juts get a can of the "Mold killer" or whatever it's called from the local auto supply store and spray it into the vents.
