Any idea when we'll see the first images of the 2011 G Coupe with all the fixins....?

I'm surprised they are bringing back the scratch shield paint.

Wonder what the 2 new additions to the G line will be - perhaps the G25 sedan and a performance IPL version of the G coupe/vert?

I hope it's a new formula. I can't wait to get mine! If all goes well, February is my goal.

i thought the Gs were to get DI engines mid-cycle. at least that's what was reported in Motor Trend (or maybe it was C&D).

in any event, i would love to have the sport package on my x coupe. i wonder if it's superficial enhancements like with the sedan...?

How do you figure the enhancements on the sedan to be superficial? Sport package has the following:

Split 5-spoke, 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 W-rated summer performance tires (front), and 18 x 8.5-inch 245/45R18 W-rated summer performance tires (rear)
Sport-tuned suspension
Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD)
Sport brakes with 4-piston opposed front calipers with 14-inch rotors and 2-piston opposed rear calipers with 13.8-inch rotors
Sport front fascia, side sills and unique headlights
Solid-magnesium paddle shifters
10-way power driver's sport seat with manual thigh extension and driver's power torso and thigh support adjustment; 8-way power front-passenger's sport seat
Unique sport stitching on front seats and steering wheel
Aluminum pedals and footrest

That to me equates to a major difference between base/journey and the sport...or are you refering to the X Sedan??

you do get the bigger wheels on the AWD sport packages. it's the paddle shifters/front bumper/side sills/seats/aluminum pedals/stitching

so whats the difference between malbec black and obsidian? I looked on the M sedan configurator which has the malbec black but could not tell a huge difference. Is one darker or more polished looking than the other?

edit found this post https://www.myg37.com/forums/the-m-s...or-thread.html

malbec looks more like dark purple

That Malbec Black should be nice... Especially if it is really dark colored like
the black wine they're associating with this color... Hard to tell from the pic

Angry

I still don’t understand why Nissan virtually skipped 2010 for the M and put a “2011” on sale this year. Now for real model year 2011 they’re perhaps embarrassed to “announce” a 2011 car that’s already being sold.

My brother’s new M37, called a 2011 model of course, was made in February 2010. I hate that sort of thing.
