What's the difference between Obsidian Black and Malbec Black? I know Malbec is a type of grape and the M in that picture seems to have a purple tint to to it.
I'm guessing that Malbec Black has a slight red/purple tint to it. Is that correct?

yup correct.. you need sun to really see the difference in person. it's almost like the amethyst graphite and platinum graphite side by side -- gotta stare at it

Just got the word from my dealer that they found a malbec black g37xs for me with wood trim. Trading in my 09 g37x black on black.
I think I drove just about every competing car, no excitement. Audi S4, A6, nope. BMW, nothing to compare. Mercedes, unless you are looking at an AMG, nothing that turned me on. Not to mention they all wanted at least 10k more.
Love my G37 sedans.
