I've realized many people dont know that the technical service bulletins (TSB) are available on line. You can search for all the factory issues and recalls through the NHTSA website by going to their service bulletin search at ODI - Office of Defects Investigation. All you have to do is enter the year, make and model for your car and viola!! I entered my 2009 g37 coupe and found 13 TSBs. If you have any issues, check this site and your dealership should fix these items. Good luck!!

Well, they might fix it if you have the problem and can prove it. You can't just go in with a printed out TSB and get a new muffler or battery. TSB's are NOT warranty items. There is a huge difference.

 

Its pretty obvious you wont get a new battery or muffler based on the TSB. However, 2 of the TSB issues on myG37 coupe were covered by my dealership at no cost to me including brake service. I agree TSBs may not be warranty items in many cases, but in some, they are covered by the dealership at no cost.

 

I should have said TSB's are not recalls. They'll only fix them if you actually are experiencing the problem, but recalls are fixed for everyone whether the problem is there yet or not.
