Sunny Today

As the sun peaks through the clouds, and onto my beautiful Black Obsidian 6MT, all I can think of is....

Why didn't I get IP.

Getting a random orbital soon though.

while OB does take more work, I'd have to disagree with beerme....as long as you do a good detail it shouldn't be too bad between details (weather of course is a factor)

I'm with HiSpeed!!!

Lets be honest here... We all keep our cars clean... And I've found if you
put the BO through some decent swirl reducing cleaner/sealer polish, you can
maintain a fairly low swirl effect on the black... Key is CLEAN!

I lol at times because, I busted *** cleaning mine, only to see it covered with
pollen today when i came out... I was like, dayummm... my car looks grey.
BUT, since I did the hard work, a nice wash bring her back to SICKNESS!!!

Platinum Graphite FTMFW! Swirls are practically invisible. Yet it still didn't keep me from spending 3 days last weekend completly polishing and detailing it.

I love my Graphite Shadow for this reason. The BO may be the best color but GS hides swirls and imperfections great and looks good too! I love this color!

Light colored cars are for lazy people. We all know that black looks far and away the best of any color when it's clean and properly detailed. I have no problem whatsoever putting in the time and effort on a car I love. Pollen? Rain? Just need to wash it again and a couple more coats of wax every month or so and all the white cars and 15 gazillion shades of Infiniti gray are envious all over again.

Nothing looks as satisfying as a clean and well detailed black car.

That may be true, but some of us have jobs that suck up all of our free time leaving precious little for meticulous detailing ever other day (which BO requires to look good). I am LOVING my color that shows no swirls even in direct sunlight!!

True. Some of us lounge about at home in our PJ's a day and detail cars a lot. In fairness, I did actually put on pants and leave the house today.

haha I'd say my job is a pretty good free-time sucker since I am pretty much always on 24 hour call during the week and some weekends...but detailing the G is what weekends are for!!
