Aftermarket Install Shop

Hey guys,
I have a question for you. So my eibach pro kit springs came in the mail today. I'm really excited to get them installed but I have one problem. Where do I get them installed? I'd love to do it myself but don't have the necessary tools (spring compressor, jack stands, etc. my question is where is a good place to look to get them installed? Will a normal garage do it? Thanks

Your best bet is to call around and explain what you need done and find out if the shop is willing to do it, how confident they sound (including and previous installs), and how much they would charge. Your best bet is to Google performance shops in your area that specialize on installing aftermarket parts, even better if they specialize in Nissan/Infiniti. Don't forget about an alignment.

Make sure you call and compare quotes, I paid 250.00 for my installation from a performance shop that specialized in infiniti and Nissan, called other places and they wanted 400 and even one shop wanted 850.00 lol I was like really! Just call around!

Where in PA are you? If you're in Western PA / Pittsburgh area, I can recommend a few shops that did installs for me, previously. I wasn't so much the install itself that was my bigger concern as most shops could handle that but... It's a good idea to do an alignment afterwards. On shorter springs, the factory alignment specs might not be best, depending on your intended usage. I know of two local shops that are either owned by guys that road race or employ mechanic/racers. These guys know custom/non-standard alignments and, obviously, are perfectly competent to do the install as well.

Hi Lagst25, C&G Performance in Sewickley does good work. They specialize in Audi and BMW but I would not hesitate to take my G there for performance related work. They did work on my MINI Cooper S and BMW M Coupe. I think it's a father and son, maybe two but they have solid experience to back it up. They used to run a 3-series in the NASA GTS class. Not sure what they race now... When I set up my MINI to be more track-oriented, they were great with the alignment, with some recommendations that were on the edge of "streetable" but made a very noticeable difference on the track.

...and Milbert's in Cranberry. It's not a performance shop but one of his best mechanics runs touring cars as well and understands performance modifications. I'm trying to remember the guys name but it's escaping me right now.

I've heard good about others in the area but those are the only two I have personal experience with... Oh yeah... I've heard good things about Riggin Specialty Automotive in Zelie too. Again, not a Nissan/Infiniti specialist but competent guys.
