Hi folks. Thought I'd say hello since I just returned to the Infiniti family. I just purchased a G37 Sport with, well, every option you can buy actually including the rear spoiler which is apparently on massive back order and is promised to me sometime in the next 3 months. Heck I even got the high friction R Spec brakes. Probably overkill but (Shrug). Oh, I didn't get the Aerodynamics package. I guess that's one thing. Anyways, I am an avid car guy and my current lineup is:
2010 Infiniti G37S Convertible
2009 Toyota Highlander Sport
2008 BMW M6 Convertible
2008 Maserati Gran Turismo- whenever
2010 Audi R8 V10 Carbon Everywhere- whenever
2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello- Once a month
1996 Mazda RX-7- Twice a month
1961 Ferrari 250GT LWB- Practically never
(gone but loved) 2006 Ferrari F430 Spyder / 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Convertible / 2005 Aston Martin DB9 Convertible
I missed a few in there but I don't recall the years to be honest. Anyways, I used to drive an M45s and I loved the car. Gave it up for the M6 (which I hate) and decided to get one of these G's for a year or so until the M56s comes down to earth pricewise. I used a friends and family code and multiple security deposits and got what I can only describe as an amazing deal. 24 month lease went to 560 or 570 (I forget which) a month with zero down. Sheesh, on a 53.5k car? That's not too shabby. I'm sure I'll be an active poster and will get pics up as soon as I drive it up from L.A. (picking it up in the morning)
P.S. Sorry for the double post to the vert section too but I like to read both forums.

Hmmm, most pix are on the computer at my office/hang out place but here's a few of the R8 coming off the truck a few months ago

Alllllllmost scraped it

Off to the track, actually ended up driving the F430 that day

For obvious reasons. . . (was Ferrari day at the track, notice my R8 at back with people around it thinking "uh what doesn't belong here")

lol "ok who brought the audi"

Love my CF diffuser/mirrors/front spoiler

I'll post up some pics of the garage at some point but the cars are under covers. I've got shots of all of them somewhere though.

if you can afford multiple exotics, obviously money is no object, which begs the question why in the world would you buy an infiniti.

Think of it as a compliment to how great Infiniti really is...
Plus, anyone who owns exotics will tell you that they dont want to drive them around all the time for many reasons such as putting excessive miles on them, comfort, convenience.... Have you ever tried to go to Home Depot in an F430? not very practical... BTW, congrats on the new G, and welcome!

If I had that stable I would certainly forget to mention the (cough...cough..)Highlander.......The R8's wheels are more valuable...

Wow. Well I picked the car up and like it. drove the m56 while I was there and wanted to give my impressions but, well jeez? I'm sorry I talked about my collection. To answer, I don't drive an r8 every day because it's a lot of car to drive on sf roads to work and certainly not in the rain. I have a highlander for the space and to go to tahoe for skiing. I wasn't showing off but I do have a passion for cars. I happen to really like the g and it makes a good dd while being sporty and well made. If I was trying to be showy I'd have posted the other cars I've had in the last 4 years. Really guys this is how you treat new members? I would think you'd think it was testament to how good the car was. Anyway, sorry to waste your time
