Wow. Well I picked the car up and like it. drove the m56 while I was there and wanted to give my impressions but, well jeez? I'm sorry I talked about my collection. To answer, I don't drive an r8 every day because it's a lot of car to drive on sf roads to work and certainly not in the rain. I have a highlander for the space and to go to tahoe for skiing. I wasn't showing off but I do have a passion for cars. I happen to really like the g and it makes a good dd while being sporty and well made. If I was trying to be showy I'd have posted the other cars I've had in the last 4 years. Really guys this is how you treat new members? I would think you'd think it was testament to how good the car was. Anyway, sorry to waste your time
Don't feel bad. It's the interweb, everyone's got an opinion and and interpretation of posts and certainly you can't please everybody. You just have to have fun with it I think and not take things personally. You will certainly find funny responses to posts and I guess inquiring comments.

Thank you for sharing despite the skeptical reactions already posted. As ModLikeMad said, I think of it as a compliment that you have all these awesome cars yet you chose our G as your (at the moment) daily driver.
Out of those that you've owned, which one has been your favorite car so far (past or present)?

No mention of the G37 here http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/a...ml#post2591648
These days is hard to separate real from fake, if I had an R8 I would still keep the G37 for beer runs. If its true we are all jealous, if not, its just another internet ******. I leaning toward its true and want to know WTF this guy does to own all those cars.

My crap detector went off because......
"Hi I just got a G37, I'm filthy rich and these are all the other cars I have (posters in my room of)"
"I'm wealthy, own and maintain all these expensive cars but I spend time on MyG37.com"
Not buying it .....

Srry buddy but im not buyin it..... i could go to a ferrari meet and take those pics too... and trust me i have pics of my friends ferrari california that im riding in... not that big of a deal... after reading this post i would like to flag it...
Seriously guys, why does it matter if he owns those other cars or not? How does it effect you guys??? Right now, it doesn't at all (outside of envy). Instead many of you are acting quite rude to a new member to MyG37.com which is dissapointing because words to a new person will probably leave a nasty impression for him and drive him away before he's had a chance to see how great our community is on this forum.
Hell, even if he doesn't own any of those cars (the G included), he is a new member to this forum just as anyone else was...reguardless of what they drive. I didn't own my G when I joined, now I can see it's a good thing I didn't mention this since it's the best site (IMO) for G37 info. I might have missed out on all of this invaluable info and gone with my original choice instead.
Of course, the only way he could effect someone on this site is if he was offering advice/tips/facts/etc on a vehicle that he doesn't own or have good first hand info on...but he hasn't and you guys need to take a chill pill and just welcome him to the site (and ask for pictures because we love pictures even if it's stock).

Its natural to be skeptical of some newb who comes along spouting off about owning multiple Ferraris, Lambos, etc. Still, I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I wish I had an R8 V10....
And what does it matter to you if someone calls BS? How does it affect you? It doesn't. It's all just pointless-drivel written by faceless, unaccountable people. Respond, or don't.
I'm sure he's completely honest though(who isn't on the internet?). He'll post pics any minute. I mean, why wouldn't he? He's rich, obviously likes to show off, surely has a high end digital camera, and most of all, it would shut-up us non-believers. Why not let a picture speak a thousand words? I can't wait to see it.
