Differences/improvements I should be aware of between years?

Hey everyone,

I sold my '06 G35 last fall and am looking to purchase an G37.

I was just wondering there are ANY differences in the YEARS, and if they had caught any recalls or flaws since they put the G37 in production? I know it came out in '08 but I was just wondering if the manufacturers had caught anything since the first year they were introduced to the public.

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks guys!

If you are looking at AT, go with at least an 09 since that is when they came with the 7 speed, not the 5 in 08. 2010 had interior refreshes like different gauge colors and higher resolution screens. there are numerous threads about this so do a quick search or just scroll down.

1cleanG, Mechanically, the big changes were mid 08
to the new VQ37VHR VVEL with a completely new
and different valve train. The 7AT followed.

You can read the TSB thread on this board to find out
exactly what fixes Nissan has identified along the way
instead of just hearing everyone's opinion.

kk, thanks to both of you. I'm not going with an AT again since it won't be a DD.

no differences except 08 5AT and 09 7AT, also updated navi for 10 models (higher resolution etc..)

heated seat button in center console is different from 08 and 09 cars as well.. button vs turn ***** respectively.

then for 10 models they redesigned the entire center console

I thought 09 Coupe had buttons too.
2010, they changed to ***** like Sedan's.

Correct?

and 2008 models didn't have scratch healing paint.

I'll take the center console in my 09 any day over the 10. The one in the 10 looks cheap.

09 coupe seat heaters are ***** and AFAIK 08's did not have scratch healing paint (only the 09's.) 10's don't have it either.

Only feature I regret in 09 is non-existent ventilated seats on 2009. Which on 2010 ventilated seat is an option.
