'08 Blue Slate G37 USED..

I'm looking at a Blue Slate '08 used with 24k miles and Prem+Nav package. However there is this Black '08 used one with 34k miles and has All packages. I was wondering if I should go with black or stick with blue slate, I aboslutely love black, but am questioning wether to go with the blue slate because it's cheaper, and less miles. Please give me some advice. BTW, the Lexus IS350 thread I started, the G37 kills it.

Tech package isn't a big deal, but the sport package is. Just my opinion, but definitely something to consider.

Off the top of my head...

Better front bumper
Bigger, better looking wheels
Bigger, powder-coated brakes
Viscous limited slip differential
Lower springs with sportier spring rate
Bigger, sportier sways
etc.

We have a 2008 Blue Slate Journey with Premium only .... we REALLY like the Blue Slate. Your mileage may vary. We bought ours in Sept. 09 and it had 16k Miles. If you like the Black you should be able to get them to come down some since 34K is technically a little high on the Mileage (if 15K a year is still the standard). Look it up on NADA, Edmunds and Kelly ..... offer them book (or Less) but don't go more than 200-400 over book. If you know one of them has been on the lot for a while that might be attractive for them to deal. You missed your "last day of the month" option unless you are willing to wait to end of March. We went in the evening on the last day of Sept ..... they were willing to deal big time. That was at a Nissan dealership and not an Infiniti. You say going back & forth from school .... my wife puts 70 miles a day on ours and she drives conservatively and gets no better than 25mpg .... gets expensive putting high octane in that often ...just a FYI

Depends how much you push past when it says "0 miles until empty"... normally I only get about 16 gallons in the tank, I pushed it really far past the fuel light and the most I ever got in there was 18.2 gallons.

so just take those numbers and do some simple math...

(my average calculated by the car, over about 3,000 miles has been 21.5 mpg @ 34.5 mph)

I am pretty happy with the mileage, considering how much I have been idling in the winter, and how aggressive I drive it.

The prices are 28.5k for Blue Slate with 24k miles and no sports package, and the Black is 30k with 18k miles and no sports package either. They are in NJ and NY. And gas prices are 2.70$ for Premium.

That's cheap. I'm paying ~$2.98 for premium here in FL.
