Hopefully that's the case if I pick one up.
Nice G37 you got there. What kind of grille is it?

No problems with mine other then the exhaust rattle which was fixed. I think it's a little much to tell someone to stay away from the 08.....the issues are minor.

That grille is a Stillen grille by the way el'ation

At 25K miles, I just started noticing some creaking noise from my dash. Only happens once in a while. My battery died a few weeks ago (then again, I've had the car for two years, but I still found it premature). Plus, the last couple tanks haven't been filling up to full lately (although the current one started one tick mark below F and eventually rose up to F). You will most likely encounter an issue or two with your car, but as long as you go to the dealership and get it serviced via TSB, you should be fine). Plus, 08's don't have the scratch shielded paint.

Hopefully if the problems don't go beyond what I've experienced, I'll still be very satisfied with the car overall.

once i got the whole battery problem resolved, its been nothing but smooth sailing with my 08 G37S.. this car is very sturdy and the best part is the warranty, it covers basically everything if your service adviser isn't a total jackass haha

Was there an "official" resolution to the battery issue, aka a TSB?

Stillen Speed grille semi-gloss with black chrome emblem kit. I love this grille since it doesn't require painting and therefore won't chip and is also very affordable at $260. Biggest negative is you have to modify the stock emblem which is best done with a dremel.

Last mod is getting done this weekend, Tanabe coilovers... FINALLY...lol.

As far as battery, I'm betting no mater what year you get, replacing the battery with a quality battery is going to be a good move.
