Had my 09 G coupe for 4 months now. Have had little some minor problems with rattling (inside the car, another where I had my half shafts lubricated) Minor issues are things you'll just have to deal with. As for me, loving my car. loving how good a job the dealership has done.

Here is a few pictures I took of my seat issue. Like I said before, if it was just a seat bubble - I would have left it alone. It looks like the leather is about to rip.
Here you go:

I guess I am missing the boat here.. Let me see if I understand, a car has a few issues and therefore it's not a great car? 15 years ago if someone had told me you could could buy a car for the high 30's that could do 0-60 in 5.0-5.4 quarter in the 13's easy, 160mpg top speed and have 330 HP normally aspirated with a big break option I would have called you crazy..
I still have my 1995 300zx tt and the sticker is 44k. Yes 14 years ago 44K got you the best Japanese engineering money could buy.. 300HP twin turbo that you could drive everyday..Fast forward 15 years, now I can buy a car from the same company that is faster 0-60, has a much more sophisticated engine, is normally aspirated and can out handle the 300zx for less money. Not to mention the much better refinement and creature comforts like navigation, traction control and god know how many others..
Now I hear people complain about a rattle hear and there, a squeak now and then, or a seat that bubbles? Come on guys, I had a 2005 Audi S4 pre-order that I paid 52K for 5 years ago. This car had no nav, back up camera and drove like a tank. This was the v8 version 334 HP and like 12 miles a gallon. It was in the dealer after two weeks for a clutch, then three months later flywheel. It had issues eating up tires cause it couldn't keep an alignment. Window motor drivers side 2 times. Unlock doors with remote and sunroof would open and get stuck.. Never ended...
Point is be happy you can buy what is pretty close to world class performer for a price that wouldn't even buy a 1995 300zx 14 years ago or a pos overpriced Audi S4 5 years ago.. I get in my car every morning and grin when I drive my G37S coupe. I grin for two reasons
1) This car is freaking fun to drive and you can live with it day in and day out.
2) I didn't over pay for a car that only outperforms the G marginally... You need to really up the price point a lot to find a car the blows the G away in the same category of sport luxury that has a real back seat and can be driven in comfort..
Ok rant over.. goodnight all
