The Sequel to My G's Problems

So I finally decided not to put up with the problems I've posted here earlier and send my G37s to the dealership. Here's the list of items they're supposed to fix:

1. A Pillar rattle
2. Exhaust rattle
3. Stick shift rattling noise (when it's in 4th or 6th gear)
4. Driver-side leather seat bubble

The good news is the service rep seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and didn't give me just lame excuses except #4, for which he said he would have to check with his manager to see if it's something they could do under warranty.

I'll post my updates once I hear back from them. Wish me luck!

Got a call from the service rep. He told me the car was ready. It turned out they only fixed the exhaust rattle problem. Wouldn't fix the driver seat bubble. Couldn't hear any rattles from A pillar and the stick.

Are these people retarded? Do they think I'm making these things up? I've been putting up with all of these problems because I knew exactly this would happen when I send the car in. They just don't want to fix anything unless there's a TSB.

Now I have to go down there tomorrow again and ask one of the technicians to sit in the car and tell him what I'm talking about. I hate these incompotent people!!!

good luck with the A pillar. it took 3 attempts and a ridiculous amount of time to fix mine. just be persistent. it helps to have a good SA, of course.

If your dealer fixed an issue, all hell would break loose. That is strictly against their policy!
