After service at my local dealer I noticed the mat in my trunk wasn't the same. Maybe I'm seeing things but I am pretty sure my trunk mat had the Infiniti symbol on it. Am I wrong?

 

No you're not, I believe mine has it too

So the dealer replaced it with a blank one. Why? and how do I go about mentioning it to service to get my mat back.

 

Well, maybe they forgot to replace the one with the infiniti symbol on it and your seeing the one under it.

 

I'd go back and ask them what went wrong (unless they put your mat back upside down lol)

 

But they had no business in my trunk. I went in for the noise in the dash. This is ridiculous.

 

In that case, I'd be very pissed

 

Post the dealer name so we never go there.

Mine is plain black that came with my vehicle. No Infiniti writing.

 

There is a carpet like "trunk floor" for lack of a better description that every car has. It has a loop at the rear to pull it up. Then there is an optional trunk mat that has a white embroidery Infiniti logo and lettering that rests on top of the carpeted trunk floor. If yours had embroidery and now it's gone, it was removed. If it was upside down, it would be a rubberized backing, not carpet.

 

I have two mats in the trunk, one with logo and one without. Look and check to see if you have two. If not you did get robbed.

 

Maybe they just forgot to put it back in? Ask them before slandering them.

 

THis is kind of funny - why would they do that? but than again, I have seem them do a lot of weird stuff before...

 

They might do that because that mat is extra. You pay extra for it.Look at the Infiniti website it is listed as an extra.
